UNITED NATIONS, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- More than 200 indigenous and non-indigenous canoe paddlers arrived in central New York City on Friday to take part in an event at the UN world headquarters to mark the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples.


They arrived in Manhattan after having traveled for almost two weeks down the Hudson River from upstate New York.
